Do you offer jewelry repair?
Yes! Here at American Jewelry, we offer a ride range of jewelry repair services. From standard ring sizings, soldering of broken chains, to a complete restoration of your irreplaceable jewelry piece, we have Master Jewelers in-house to assist in all your fine jewelry needs! Always having a Master Jeweler in the shop, majority of our repair services can be completed same day, depending on the intricacy of the job.
Do I have to make an appointment?
Nope! Simply swing by anytime you’re in the area and one of our jewelry professionals will assist you with your jewelry repair request! When you come in to drop off your jewelry for repair, our stylists will inspect your item and give you a quote on any and all repairs that might be needed to able to be completed. Often times we take in jewelry for repair, there might be other issues prevalent or that might arise in the future - our staff will be sure to go over any and all repairs that might be needed to maintain an excellent condition of your jewelry!
Do you send my jewelry out for repair?
All fine jewelry repair is completed by our skilled team of jewelers, in-house at our Brentwood or Mt. Juliet location. The only repair service that we complete outside of our shop is pearl stringing and watch repair - as it typically takes a few weeks for those jobs to be completed by our trained staff.
Will my jewelry be safe while in the shop and insured?
All of our jewelry repairs are kept in a high security vault and are only taken out during the repair process - all jewelry left with us falls under our insurance and is completely safe and insured while in our care!
How do I know I’m getting my stone back?
During the take in process, we will take detailed images and descriptions of each item and are happy to map out your center stone under the gemscope so you can use as a reference upon pickup. We promise your jewelry is safe while in our care!
How long does a repair usually take?
For most repairs, we can offer the same-day service - it is dependent on the length and intricacy of the repair(s) needed. Our standard jewelry repair timeframe completion within 7 business days of items being dropped off!
